                                                                      My teaching philosophy

Hello everyone, my name is Luis Cevallos, I am from Nariño, but, I live in Bogota DC, I am 36 years old, I am working and brave, my hobby is playing guitar, because, I am currently learning with my guitar, I play guitar on weekends, my dreams are traveling around the world, for example, to know Roma, thus, I expect to learn a lot of about my experiences like a teacher I think that work is wonderful, because, you can have many opportunities with the foreign language, thus, I love that profession, because, I like to teach with the implementation of teaching and learning strategies and digital tools, with that activity, students can develop more skills, however, it´s necessary to carry out the design of a learning environment are very important, because it is the main basis of pedagogy in the educational field for our students in the process English teaching and learning. 

However, I have been learning about the process of teaching and learning it’s very important because there is the opportunity and experience for a job in Colombia or in foreign, I can work as a teacher, translator, and interpreter, on the other hand, my teaching experience was wonderful because I learned many strategies and learning methods, the students, they learn very well about English, However, according to my experience, I have had Advantages of English teaching with experience to teach foreign language  in the last stages, indeed, it’s necessary to practice all days to improve langue skills.

My beliefs about my teaching

I am a believer in learning and teaching with the use of digital tools, however,  it is necessary to improve the technology used for the process of collecting error information, to be corrected with the experience with the participating students who have framed beliefs about learning In a traditional and communicative approach to language, finally, we can say that learning English is a challenge because you must learn the origin of language, its morphology, and derivatives to have a complete knowledge

What I learned about teaching speaking skills

I learned to develop the lesson plan, teaching journal formats, and material designed  to strengthen the teaching, likewise, I learned to use the digital tools, because,  these are of great importance to apply them to the teaching of the students, however , this will serve me for a new opportunity of work, because English is fundamental when it comes to finding a job abroad. English will give us access to better education and therefore the possibility of a better job.

 What I learned about teaching in online environments

In teaching I learned to create digital material to facilitate learning with students, however,  a Virtual Learning Environment is a space that is created on the Internet and is easy to access for students and teachers to promote the exchange of knowledge between teachers and students For example, many platforms favor interactions between these users to carry out a learning process, that experience was wonderful.

My principles about teaching speaking online (at least 5)

1. Respect your rights and respect those of others
2. apply the use of tools  and teaching strategies
3. Express ideas and emotions politely
4. Ask for what you need, without forgetting good manners.
5. Express your feelings without judging others.
